Common faults of electric vehicle controllers

Many friends who drive electric cars often ask a question, is the battery broken when the problem occurs in the electric car? In fact, many times I heard everyone's description, Huafeng learned that it is not just the battery problem, but a large part of the reason is that the controller has malfunctioned. As a professional brake cable manufacturer, today we will talk about the problems that affect the controller and the solutions.

1.The riding noise of electric bicycles is loud and the speed becomes slower with load. After the car is stopped, the car can not start at zero, and it can only run normally after the motor is turned. Let us make a preliminary diagnosis. This is a symptom of motor lack of phase. Now the controller is mostly intelligent, and it will jitter at zero start due to lack of phase. This may be a "morbid condition" caused by the damage of the motor Hall, the controller and the motor matching problem, the controller software is not perfect, and the compatibility is not strong. Another possibility is that there is a problem with a phase circuit inside the controller. First, check carefully whether there is any problem with the connecting line. If the Hall and connecting lines are detected normally, then the internal components of the controller have failed. Please replace the controller with a higher standard, replacing bicycle brake cable!

2.The electric vehicle is energized and does not work hard to implement, and it makes a "thumping kick" sound when it is implemented. This situation occurs because the motor wire is short-circuited due to the contact of the virtual connection. You can unplug the three thick phase wires of the motor, and the cart laborious phenomenon disappears, indicating that the controller is broken, please immediately replacing bicycle brake cable. If it is still difficult to implement, the problem of the motor may be caused by the short circuit and burnout of the motor coil.

3. Reasons for the failure of the electric vehicle controller There are several factors that affect the failure of the electric vehicle controller. We introduce the common ones. The first is the damage of the power device. The damage of the power device generally has the following possibilities, most of them are Caused by damage to the motor. Or the quality of the power unit itself is poor or the selection level is not enough. Device installation or vibration is loose. Motorycycle control cables are broken, the motor is overloaded, the power device drive circuit is damaged or the parameter design is unreasonable. The above reasons will all lead to the failure of the electric vehicle controller. Another situation is that the internal power supply of the controller is damaged, and the internal power supply of the controller is damaged. Generally, there are the following possibilities: the internal circuit of the controller is short-circuited, the peripheral control components are short-circuited, and the external leads are short-circuited.

4. Turn the brake handle during riding, and the brake will fail when the handle is not reset

There are two common possibilities for this problem. The brake lever failed, and the brake lever did not send a brake signal to the controller when braking. This phenomenon may be caused by poor contact of the brake lever switch or disconnection of the Motorycycle control cables circuit. You can disconnect the Motorycycle control cables from the controller and use a digital multimeter diode test to see if the two brake cables are short-circuited while holding the brake lever. Generally, it should be short-circuited. Normally, it should be short-circuited, otherwise the brake lever is damaged.

Solution: Replace the brake lever or connect the road bike brake cable. If the brake lever is normal, check whether the brake level matches the controller. If the controller has a high-level brake, one of the brake wires should be connected to the positive pole of the power supply. If the controller is low-level braking, one of the road bike brake cables should be connected. The wiring should be connected to the negative pole of the power supply. Correct solution: Connect the brake cable according to the correct requirements.

If the brake input circuit inside the controller is interrupted, the brake signal cannot be sent to the controller, and the brake function cannot be activated. In this way, the controller can keep the motor moving forward without resetting the steering wheel, and the brake does not work.

5. The connection line is worn out, the connector is damaged or disconnected, causing the control signal to be lost. Generally speaking, the possibilities are: unreasonable wire selection, imperfect line protection, and weak connector crimping.

The above is the brake cable manufacturer-Huafeng introduces some methods for you, on how to deal with common faults of electric vehicle controllers, if you have any questions, please visit our official website for more information!
