Generally, you can get a better driving experience by driving a manual transmission model, but because you have to manually shift gears, it is also more difficult to operate. What is the reason and what should I do?
When the engine is idling, although the clutch pedal has been pressed to the bottom, it is difficult to shift gears, and the transmission gear has a slamming sound. After reluctantly engaging the gear, the clutch pedal has not been released, and the car has been driven or stalled.
Open the clutch bottom cover, put the transmission into neutral, and depress the clutch all the way. Then, use a screwdriver to move the follower disc. If it can be turned easily, it means that the clutch is well separated; if it cannot be turned, it means that the clutch is not completely separated.
1 For hydraulically driven clutches, in addition to the above inspections, it is also necessary to check whether the brake fluid is lacking, whether the pipeline is leaking, and the air in the hydraulic system is discharged.
2 Check whether the free travel of the clutch pedal is too large and adjust it.
3 If the above adjustment is normal and the separation is still not complete, remove the clutch and check whether the driven plate is installed backwards, whether it is difficult to move axially, whether the main driven plate is warped, whether the release lever screw is loose, and whether the floating pin is not. fall off.
4 For clutches with newly riveted friction plates, check whether the driven disc and friction plates are too thick. If it is too thick, it needs to be matched according to the actual thickness.
5 Check whether the height of the separation lever is consistent and too low.
Manually turn the release fork, so that the front end of the release bearing is lightly against the inner end face of the release lever, and turn the clutch to check. If the inner end of the release lever can not contact the release bearing at the same time, it means that the height of the release lever is inconsistent. Adjustments should be made.
If the separation lever height is the same, and the separation is still not complete, check the lever height. Adjust the separation levers to the same height. If they can be completely separated, it means that the original adjustment is improper or the wear is too much. After the release lever adjustment, the free travel of the clutch pedal must be readjusted.
1. The gearbox shaft is rusted
If one shaft of the gearbox is rusted, the driven disc will not be able to move normally, resulting in the clutch not returning, so it will be difficult to shift gears when driving, and the gears cannot be shifted according to the normal trajectory.
2. The clutch release stroke is not enough
If it is a clutch failure, the clutch separation distance is not enough, resulting in incomplete clutch separation and difficult to shift. In this case, go to the repair shop for repair and adjust the clutch separation distance.
3. Deformation of clutch pressure plate transmission plate
The transmission plate of the clutch pressure plate assembly is deformed due to some factors, and the clutch pressure plate needs to be replaced.
4. Gear lock
Because the clutch gear self-locking force is very large, so the car is particularly difficult to shift. In fact, just adjust the gear lock and the clutch cable.
01 The new car is jerky in gear
The newly bought car is difficult to shift because the gears of some gear parts of the new car are relatively jerky, and the new car needs to be run-in. Just wait until the parts of the new car's gearbox have reached a running-in state.
02 The weather is cold and difficult to shift
When the car is cold in winter, it is generally jerky to drive in gear. Because of the cold weather, the lubrication effect of the transmission oil cannot reach the lubrication effect when the car is cold. Therefore, it is normal for a cold car to sometimes feel hesitant when it is in gear.
03 Change the transmission oil
The gearbox oil also needs to be replaced in time. If the gearbox parts are short of oil, there will be a jerky gear shift. Transmission oil and engine oil are similar in that they lubricate gear components. The gearbox is short of oil and replenish the oil in time.
Difficulty shifting gears while driving is more common. As long as the above-mentioned problems are solved, the situation where the car cannot be easily shifted can be solved smoothly.
Driving in manual gear will bring a special and pleasant driving experience, but the driving habits of car friends are different, and the worn parts of the car are not the same, which will make the car difficult to shift, so please give the car in time for a pleasant driving experience.
