1. Take Honda motorcycle as an example

If Honda's motorcycle speed is unstable, first analyze and resolve the failure. The idling of the engine is unstable, and the engine stalls during operation, making it difficult to start. The engine format for this model is a 4-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It may not be the cause of the motorcycle throttle cable. Reasons for unstable idle speed include the following:

(1) Ignition is not timing. If the ignition is too early, the negative compression work will increase and the engine will not be able to run at low speed.

(2) The flammable mixture is too dilute or too rich. If the flammable mixture is too lean, it will be difficult to start the engine, the carburetor will flash back, the idle speed will be unstable, the power will be reduced and the engine will be unstable. If the flammable mixture is too rich, the engine will overheat, the output will be insufficient, the exhaust pipe will ignite, the acceleration speed will slow down, and the idling speed will become unstable. Therefore, if the flammable mixture is too rich or too dilute, the engine idling will be unstable.

(3) The contact gap of the breaker is inappropriate. If the gap is too small, the resistance at low speeds will be relatively low, the sparks generated will be weakened or intermittent, the low voltage current will not be cut off normally, and the strength of the high voltage sparks will be affected. It misfires at low speeds and makes the engine idling unstable.

(4) If the electrode gap of the spark plug is too small, the idling of the engine will become unstable.

2. Take Yamaha as an example

Clean and adjust the carburetor to see if the mixing ratio is correct. If it is not, we need to adjust the carburetor mixing ratio again. Check whether the idle speed measuring hole is blocked, how the spark plug is, whether it is concentrated, whether the electrode gap is normal, whether the valve gap is too small, if the motorcycle throttle cable need to adjust,etc.

Another possibility is that when we are driving, we accelerate too fast in an instant, resulting in insufficient fuel supply and insufficient power. After switching from a low gear to a high gear, if there is not enough power, it will cause the internal gear of the engine to rotate at an abnormal speed and generate vibrations. As long as the accelerator is not raised too quickly when accelerating next time, the buffer acceleration can not only solve this problem, but also help the maintenance of the engine.

3. Take Haojue and Suzuki motorcycles as an example

There are many reasons why engine idling may be unstable,such as fuel supply, ignition,motorcycle throttle cables,and cylinder sealing.The main reason is that the gas mixture in the cylinder may not ignite when the engine is running. Caused by misfire,increase / decrease in engine speed, unstable idling speed, etc.
